Volunteering Opportunity
Rugby World Cup 2011 will be the biggest sporting event New Zealand has ever held, and as well as a celebration of rugby it is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase the South and our country to the world. Be part of the team to SPIN IT WIDE to fill a wide range of roles associated with hosting the event in Dunedin. Whether you are helping visitors find their way to the stadium, greeting incoming flights, or working around the venue on match day, your contribution could be the memorable experience that a visitor to our city takes home with them.
As the Rugby World Cup is growing bigger every time it is held this will probably be a once in a generation chance to be involved with an event of this scale. You won’t get match tickets, but you will get to be part of an event people will be talking about for many years to come, and you’ll know you’ve done something special for your city and your country.
Everyone who is interested in being a volunteer for Rugby World Cup in the south can register their interest at www.rugbyworldcup.com/volunteer.
The Rugby World Cup is an exciting opportunity for the South to showcase ourselves to the world. Together we can ensure that whatever happens to their rugby team, visitors to our region go home with fond memories and a desire to come back some day.
